Our Training Philosophy

Fitness, Education, and Fun For Sobriety That Lasts A Lifetime

When it comes to group training within Recovery Road Runners, we believe in creating an experience that transforms lives. From the kickoff celebration to the post-race party, our goal is to provide our participants with unique, unforgettable and transformative experiences every time they join us to train.  We do this by focusing on three very important aspects as we plan each training block, then infuse them into every element of training throughout the program.  Our three guiding aspects are  Fitness, Education, & Fun, and all 3 of these foundational pillars intentionally support and enhance each individual’s sobriety journey.

This means we focus on getting our bodies in shape for the physical task ahead, having a fun social experience together while training, and learning new things along the way whether it's something about sobriety, your body, mental toughness, your gear, training principals or something else.
